1. Black Lake Shoreline

2. Pass 4230
Region: Alpine Lakes Region Itinerary: Black Lake—Pass 4230 Duration: 1 hour round-trip Altitude in Meters: Start 4,100. Destination 4,230 Elevation gain: 130 meters Rating: Easy Summary: Enjoy an outstanding vista of lake and peak, one of the best in the entire region. The pass is located ½ kilometer northwest of Black Lake. The Lanhua Meadow Route crosses over the pass. |
3. Alpine Lakes Circuit
Region: Alpine Lakes Region Itinerary: Varies Duration: 1 to 5 hours round-trip depending on itinerary Altitude in Meters: Start 4,100. Destination 4,090 to 4,260 Elevation gain: 10 to 330 meters Rating: Easy to Moderate Summary: Starting from Black Lake, hike to one or several of the nearby alpine lakes. A circuit including all seven takes 5 hours. |
